Oh, dear, now I have laundry room envy. Ours is downstairs, really a part of the utility room. And since we don't have a garage, you can picture what this room looks like. It's a mess. And it's not my stuff, so there is nothing I can do about it (my marriage is worth more to me than a clean laundry room, that's for sure). Hmmm....but maybe I could put up some drywall....

You are so right about the importance of learning new things all the time. Our brains get stale otherwise.

Dear Kathy,

Being a stubborn ADD queen I'm always trying new things. Right now I'm supposed to be wrapping up my 24 hour honed skills on matting pics. You are right about making the effort to learn new things. It's an opportunity to take a little side trip and discover how someone else may spend their everyday. Or this morning I discovered how long it took a newly emerged monarch to dry its wings and fly away. It was a peaceful and spiritual experience - unlike the matting techniques I've yet to learn! Take care Kathy. I enjoy reading each new entry. Marilyn

My greatest adventure this week was to get every kid on the bus on time...no running a kid to school all week. Maybe with the extra time I can read something or watch the news. I could learn something then!! Thanks for the inspiration.
